One million seems like an impossible number to reach when it comes to hit singles , especially from independent, unknown, and undiscovered artist’s. But it was just a few short days that one single by Gen Z’s newest popular face released a viral hit that got him social media famous.
With only taking just a few short days after releasing his second ever single, something real, went viral. Reaching one million plays on Spotify. Independent and musically talented Stephen aka “Insyder” got social media famous with no true intentions of doing so. Insyder started his music career back in early 2020 last year. With his debut single, sometimes. Sometimes was written and recorded by Insyder all in a matter of 3 hours. In most recent events, Insyder has became a true inspiration to thousands in his finding of new popularity. With making it look easy, other indie artists across the globe have found it much more difficult with getting their music out there, they still see hope that it can happen to anybody and that one big break is just around the corner.
From taking advantage of furthering his education he was also learning marketing strategies, preparing him for his career with the music industry. Insyder explains during an interview about his sudden rags to riches: “I wanted to try an experiment just to see how viral I could go online with just the marketing skills I’ve learned so far from online schooling and books.” Further adding “I knew it would work, but I was not prepared for the extra at which it blew up.” With just over a year later, Insyder grew his audience listeners to over 100 million people. While growing his socials with new follows, he achieved verification status on most big platforms, such an Instagram, YouTube, and tiktok. Not long after his success he went head first giving all this attention into creating fun and different ideas for short lived videos seen on TikTok.
With having 3 great qualities that Insyder feels like played a big roll into “cracking” the algorithm, leading to 120 million views in a 3 month period, and to going viral. His skills from marketing development classes, his knowledge for technology-that every generation z seems to have, and his disability of autism, helping him have a better attention span. All were big reasons to his success to greatness.
Stephen, or more commonly known by Insyder, works at Azuric Esports. Having experience in social networking, gaining skills from marketing, and learning people skills, Stephen was promoted to general manager soon after getting hired. Stephen was recognized to be the perfect fit for his position he now holds, managing his fantastic team.
