Back in 2004, Joell Ortiz joined forces with Royce da 5'9" and Joe Budden to form Slaughterhouse. The group's first album was released in 2009 on Eminem's Shady Records label. Joell also spent time as an artist on Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment label. Ortiz looks back on his early career fondly, commenting on how rewarding it was to be part of such a big moment for Hip Hop during this era. "Autograph" is his first solo release in over six years. It's out now on iTunes and Spotify.
The album features production from Grammy Nominee Salaam Remi, the Grammy winning Heatmakerz, Hesami, and Detroit Legend Apollo Brown, along with features from Sheek Louch, Marc scibilia, kxng crooked, Pastor LBS, and Cyhi the Prynce.
